1. 2002 Member Application/Rejection Table

In response to the communications received from our members, the Edulix Team has prepared a database on acceptance and rejections rates and statistics for Fall 2002. This database is gathered from the Edulix web site and is provided by Edulix members based on their experience in Fall 2002 admissions.

Edulix Expert Panel Members kindly ask you, especially MBA applicants, to e-mail the following information to info@edulix.com to help us help you:

  • Colleges applied (approximate application date - month year is acceptable)
  • Department
  • Level: MS/PhD/MBA
  • Qualifications (GPA, GRE/GMAT, TOEFL)
  • Decision if received (accepted/rejected)
  • Decision acknowledgement date (approximate application date - month year is acceptable)
Since Edulix.com has strict privacy rules, your name will not be published as can be seen from the published table.

2. Graduate Assistantship Opportunities

The following opportunities are currently available for Fall 2002.

  • Penn State University - Harrisburg
    School of Science, Engineering, and Technology

    Graduate Assistantship position is available for 2002-2003 academic year to tutor students from a variety of majors in mathematics, organize math clinics for engineering and technology students in cooperation with the college’s Center for Academic Achievement. Assistant must be a full-time graduate student admitted to or currently enrolled in one of the Masters programs offered by the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology. Current admission requirements and on-line applications are available at:

    Candidates are expected to have a strong background in mathematics. Prior experience is highly desirable but the program will consider persons with demonstrated interest in tutoring students in mathematics. This position provides tuition remission and a stipend.

    Applicants should submit completed Graduate School admission application along with detailed resume to:

3. Member Feature Stories

Edulix has started a new column on stories of success in the application and admission process few months ago. If you'd like us to publish your graduate school application story, please e-mail your story to info@edulix.com. You may see the first line of successful member stories (by Kadam Chudgar and Badri Hiriyur) at Edulix Member Articles You may include a small picture to go with your article !

4. New Upcoming Sections

In order to help members who got admission for Fall 2002, Edulix Team is planning to add new content. Such content will include information about housing, commuting, banking, communication with home etc. Please check back with Edulix site regularly.
