how much important is school & Engg. grades for admission in german univs. - bloombox - 06-04-2012 04:48 PM

I wanted to apply in German univs. for their master program(Mechanical/Automotive). My grades is not great (10th-63%, 12th-53%, B.E.- 70%), for admission how much weightage will be given to the grades? Do German univs. also need the school mark sheets for the assessment process, if yes then how much weightage is given to the school grades and Engg. grades. I have 2 years of work ex.
Need suggestions badly……….

So far, none of the German universities I came across demand school certificates. And 70% is not a bad percentage. Chances of admission do vary with grades but generally, admission with GPA above 2.5/4 is possible

@[bloombox] I don't think German or other EU universities require 10th or 12th results. So you don't have to worry about that and I think your BE % is not bad, just select the universities carefully.
