Hi all,

I am planning to apply to saarland university in germany for ms in cs.
I would like to know that if the documents to be uploaded on the application portal need to be certified or not.
Also. do we need to send our toefl scores via ets or is uploading the toefl certificate sufficient.

Has anyone applied there?

Please help

Hi
I am totally confused about the application procedure for university of Saarland and Bielefeld university. Their websites say that application is through uni assist but they are not in the list of member univs in uni assist site.
Could someone who has already applied/ is applying to these univs please let me know?

karthik,

I have applied to Saarland for the course Computer and Communication Engineering. Its not through uni assist. Its completely online where u upload all the documents. I think it should be the same for any other course also.

Are u applying for Computer and Communication Engineering? If so, here is the link

Though the application for saarland is online,is certified copies of the transcripts, course contents and TOEFL need to be sent(in hardcopies) to university as mentioned here.

No TOEFL Code for the university is mentioned in the website. So,you have uploaded the scanned copy of TOEFL result? Also,is it necessary to upload the certified(notarized) copies of marksheets or scanned copies of the original marksheets will be suffice?

Thanks

Where do u find that the hard copies are to send?.... I don't find it anywhere...
"Applications on paper are not accepted anymore."...

I uploaded the scanned copy of TOEFL....

I think they haven't asked for notarized copies... But I uploaded notarized copies... I think its better to upload notarized copies to be on safe side...

If u r planning to apply , do it as soon as possible.. else it will delay ur visa...
i applied almost 1 month b4... even now i didn't get any reply.... so be quick....

I am applying for summer-13 term.
In the upload option for Transcript of Records, did you also upload syllabus and course contents of your undergraduation?
(The syllabus is mentioned as requirement in the section 'Application details and premises' of the link)

Also,High-School Diploma refers to intermediate(+2) certificate or 10th class certificate?

Thanks again.

when u upload the transcripts, it gives an idea about the papers u have done. I don't have any idea about uploading syllabus. Anyways i haven't uploaded them.

Upload both 10th and +2 to be on safe side. Anyways +2 is mandatory.
